Kathy & Chuck first mentioned the idea of updating their kitchen to Horowitz & Sons at a family barbecue in the Fall of 2013. Their goal was to have the project completed during Summer 2014, which gave us plenty of time to put together an action plan and design a functional kitchen that allowed for plenty of mobility and organization when entertaining guests. Their choice of Richmond Mahogany cabinet finish is elegantly complemented by Bianco Fontanelli granite countertops, and provides a stunning contrast to the Benjamin Moore Buttermilk used on the center island piece and marble backsplash. The existing wood floors were sanded and refinished as a keepsake from their original design!
Brian & Lee tasked us with constructing a 2400 square foot renovation of their 80 year old home on Peachtree Road. So far the project has consisted of pouring an additional foundation, gutting virtually all existing rooms of dated materials, framing and reframing old rooms, adding 3 new bathrooms, updating electrical fixtures, sheetrocking, and re-siding the entire house. Here are some pictures I took today while some guys were here spackling after sheetrocking from top to bottom last week. This week our goal is to start removing the existing driveway, and preparing to start trimming the interior walls. Stay tuned for more pictures to come!
